Automated Retuning and Diagnostics

Retuning

KGS conducted cooperative research and development with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to automate and commercialize diagnostics and retuning algorithms.  This effort leveraged many years of research invested in diagnostics on buildings, air handlers, and systems to identify low and no cost interventions to improve energy efficiency and save money.  KGS worked with PNNL to further develop and automate:

  • Diagnostics for outdoor air economizers
  • Whole building energy diagnostics
  • Retuning algorithms
